1. Who we are

AvyloTech ("AvyloTech", "we", "us" or "our") is a technology services company that designs and builds web applications, mobile apps, AI agents and AI-powered software for its clients. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit avylotech.com or contact us.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to:

  • our website, avylotech.com, and any pages that link to this policy;
  • enquiries you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or the contact form; and
  • business communications with prospective and current clients.

It does not cover websites or apps we build for our clients (for example, the products in our portfolio). Those products have their own privacy policies, published by their owners.

3. What we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • your company name and role; and
  • details about your project, timeline and budget.

Our contact form does not store anything on our website. It opens your own email app with your message filled in, and we only receive it if you choose to send it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. This is used to deliver and secure the website.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies on this website.

4. How we use your data

We use your personal data only to:

  • reply to your enquiry and discuss your project;
  • prepare proposals, quotes and agreements you have asked for;
  • deliver and support the services you engage us for;
  • keep our website running, secure and free from abuse; and
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We process your data with your consent, which you give by contacting us, or where it is needed to perform a contract with you or to comply with the law. We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

5. Cookies and third-party services

Our website does not set its own cookies. To display the site, your browser loads a few resources from third-party providers:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for our typefaces;
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr for the code libraries that draw the globe on our homepage.

When your browser requests these files, those providers receive your IP address and basic browser information, as with any web request. Their use of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.

If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

6. How we share your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only:

  • with service providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting and cloud providers, under obligations to protect your data;
  • when the law requires it, such as in response to a valid request from a court or government authority;
  • to protect our rights, our users or the public from fraud, security threats or harm; and
  • in a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, where the new owner will be bound by this policy.

7. Client project data

When we build software for a client, we may process data that belongs to the client or the client's users. We handle that data only on the client's instructions, under the confidentiality and data-protection terms in our agreement with that client. Those terms take precedence over this policy for that data.

8. Data retention

We keep enquiry emails and messages for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the length of our relationship. After that, we keep records only as long as required for legal, tax or accounting purposes, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see Your rights).

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

We are based in India and work with clients worldwide. Some of our service providers, such as email and cloud providers, may store or process data outside India. Where that happens, we transfer data only as permitted under applicable law and take steps to ensure it stays protected.

11. Children's data

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update your data;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • withdraw consent you have given, without affecting processing that has already happened; and
  • raise a grievance with us and, if it is not resolved, with the relevant data protection authority.

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another region with its own data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@avylotech.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we will respond within the time required by law.

13. Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, including the client products in our portfolio. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, so please review their policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.

15. Contact and grievances
